First grade was introduced to symmetry through the study of butterflies. We began by reading, "My, oh My a Butterfly." We then used tissue paper and water colors to create symmetrical butterflies.
You have a new background on your blog! When I re-designed mine, I fell in love with this backround you've chosen, but I couldn't seem to make it work for me. I'm glad somebody was able to rock this crazy oil spill of a design! Cool!
Love them! I'm new so I'll have to figure out how to do them. They are shiny. Did they modgepodge over top the tissue paper, or glue/water mix with sponged paint background? Truly, I love the colors!
I LOVE FIRST GRADE! :-) and butterflies!
