Veterans Day Art Work - Students focused around the "poppy"
Remembrance Day Flower
6th grade captured detail of the flower using liquid water colors.
Kindergarten used balloons to print their poppies. The flowers were done in acrylic paint and students used watercolors to complete the backgrounds.
Our 6th grade morning show crew chose this art work for our 1st grade students to complete.
2nd grade students art work was completed with glue lines and chalk pastels.
3rd grade students drew their flowers with charcoal and added color with chalk pastels.
4th grade students painted their flowers using tempera paint while trying to create and illusion of depth.
5th grade students created these beautiful bowls using slabs.
