4th Grade Hearts

For our heart healthy month of February students were inspired to create art work that 

included the shape.
We all began by reviewing artist, Jim Dine.

Kindergarten students created 4 hearts while exploring different mediums.

1st grade students used warm and cool colors to complete their art work.

2nd grade students created textured hearts with tissue paper while also reviewing warm and cool colors.

3rd grade students created landscapes within their hearts inspired by artist Ted Harrison

4th grade students created landscapes inspired by artist Jen Aranyi

 5th grade students incorporated mixed media and collage into their art works.

6th grade students were inspired by Klimts, "Tree of Life"
